Privacy Policy for the PT-Weiterbildung connector and plugins

Last updated: 8 October 2026. This policy covers the connector at https://www.pt-weiterbildung.de/mcp and the PT-Weiterbildung plugins for ChatGPT and Claude. The full German privacy policy for the website is at /datenschutz (connector section: KI-Connector); if the two differ, the German version applies.

2. What the connector does

The connector lets AI assistants such as ChatGPT (OpenAI) and Claude (Anthropic) search pt-weiterbildung.de, a public directory of accredited training sites for the psychotherapy specialist training in Germany. All tools are read-only. The connector does not require an account, does not use cookies and cannot send, book or change anything.

3. Data we receive

Search parameters that the assistant sends for a user's question, for example a city or postal code, a radius, a federal state, a therapy method, a patient group, a free-text search term, a site ID or a date.
Technical connection data of the requesting server: IP address (normally the AI provider's server, not the user's device) and software identifier (user agent).

We do not receive or request names, e-mail addresses, account data, location data of the user's device, conversation history or any health information about users. Users should not enter personal data in search terms; the connector does not need any.

4. How we use the data

Search parameters are used only to answer the individual request and are not stored.
For usage statistics we store one counter per day, per detected assistant (for example "ChatGPT" or "Claude", derived from the user agent) and per tool. These counters contain no IP address, no search terms and no other personal data.
To protect the service from overload, the IP address of the requesting server is held in memory for at most one minute for rate limiting.
Our hosting provider keeps technical server logs for secure operation (see section 7).

Radius searches use a place table stored on our own server (GeoNames data); search parameters are not sent to any geocoding or other third-party service.

5. Data in responses

Responses contain only public directory data: information from the published lists of the German state chambers of psychotherapists (Landespsychotherapeutenkammern), institutional contact details of training sites, and information the training sites have provided themselves.

6. Sharing and selling

We do not sell, rent or share data received through the connector, and we do not use it for advertising, profiling or to train AI models.

7. Hosting and retention

The service is hosted by Railway Corp., 340 Pine Street, Suite 700, San Francisco, CA 94104, USA, under a data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR); transfers to the USA are based on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or other appropriate safeguards. Search parameters are not retained. Daily usage counters are anonymous and kept for statistics. Server logs are kept by the hosting provider only as long as needed for secure operation.

8. Legal basis

Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is to make the public directory available through AI assistants and to operate the service securely.

9. The AI provider's processing

How your conversations and account are processed inside ChatGPT or Claude is the responsibility of the respective provider: OpenAI privacy policy, Anthropic privacy policy.

10. Children

The connector is intended for psychology graduates and licensed psychotherapists. It is not directed at children and does not knowingly process data about children.

11. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Because the connector does not store search parameters or identify users, we usually hold no data that can be linked to you. To exercise your rights, write to ptweiterbildung@gmail.com.
